At 10AM on the bright and sunny October 9th, Strong Women, Strong Girls held their FIRST annual Powderpuff Tournament at CMU's Gesling Stadium. SWSG had refs, teams, "coaches" and even the support of the Greek Women's Honor Society. Below are pictures from the event. Sororities, dorms and even members of Strong Women, Strong Girls at Duquesne University came out to play!!
My colleague told me hat the event was more than a rewarding experience. I hope more such initiatives will get organized in 2012 as this would bring the students together in a nice and pleasant, yet active way.
